Sugar Brook Farms is a family owned business located in Verona, Wisconsin, a small town just outside of Madison. Ideally located in close vicinity to Green County, Sugar Brook Farms uses local Wisconsin cheeses for its products. Green County, one of the leading cheese making areas of the country, provides Sugar Brook Farms with the purest raw materials to create a variety of cheese products that stand out for their unique flavors and applications.
Sugar Brook Farms has been in business since 1998, started by Steve McKeon and Paul McShane as an extension of the manufacturing and cut & wrap plant, Family Fresh Pack. Originally offering a limited number of cold pack cheese spreads and cheese balls, over the years we have grown our nationally available product line to feature over 40 unique and delectable items, including dessert balls, stuffed peppadews, cold pack deli-cakes, and an array of award winning spreads. Most recently added to our offerings is our Entertainers Choice line of cheese cubes and spreads, Swissconsin Brick and Muenster cheese, and Adelphos Feta. We also distribute our products, along with those of several local cheese companies, throughout the state of Wisconsin.
The Sugar Brook Farms team consists of Steve's two daughters and son, Kim Schiro, Kelly Longseth, and Stephen McKeon Jr. Kelly's husband John Longseth, and Paul’s daughter and son, Katie and Tim McShane, have recently joined the company, truly making Sugar Brook Farms a family business!
